Ronnaporn “Neung” Kanivichaporn

The first Southeast Asian bartender to win Bacardi Legacy.

Neung won Bacardi Legacy 2019 in Amsterdam with “Pink Me Up”, a drink of rum, tomato, orgeat, lemon, olive brine and basil that spread on social media as #DrinkPinkmeup. He was the first bartender from Southeast Asia to take the title. At the time he was co-owner and bartender of Backstage Cocktail Bar and Find the Locker Room.

He is now head bartender at Mahaniyom Cocktail Bar and has mentored a new generation of Thai bartenders, among them 2025 World Class Thailand champion Thanachot “Ong” Lohanimit.
