Guest shifts & bar events in Bangkok
A guest shift is when a bartender from another bar, often from another country, takes over a bar’s counter for one night with their own menu. It is how the world’s best bars trade ideas, and Bangkok now hosts more of them than almost anywhere in Asia. The busiest week is the Bangkok Bar Show, 23–26 October 2026.
Dates and times are Bangkok time, as published by the venues and organisers linked on each entry. Plans change, so check the venue’s own channels before you go. Last checked 14 October 2026.
