Nat Sampah Pattani (Pasar Karat Pattani)
Evening flea market on Yarang Rd near Pattani Central Mosque: racks of pre‑loved clothes, tools, old radios and curios, plus easy street snacks and iced tea. Bring small bills and bargain with a smile.
About
Pattani’s thrifters’ lane. Nat Sampah — also called Pasar Karat — spills along Yarang Road most evenings, a short walk from the Pattani Central Mosque and the bus terminal. Vendors spread tarps under streetlights, headlamps flick on, and the hunt begins as locals chat in Thai and Malay over the clink of hangers.
You’re here for treasure: racks of pre‑loved denim and football shirts, toolboxes and motorbike parts, old radios and cassette players, kitchenware, and random curios that beg a second life. Between stalls, grab street snacks and a sweet iced tea while you sort through the finds — it’s easy on the wallet and heavy on character.
Go with small bills, check seams and zippers, and haggle with a smile. The scene tends to warm up from late afternoon into night; show up earlier for first pick, later for better deals. If you’re staying near Yarang Road, it’s an easy wander after sunset and a very Pattani way to spend an hour or two.
