Contemporary art salon in a 1930s curved corner building across from the Ministry of Interior. Rotating shows (MOMENTUM), open Tue–Sun 2–6pm; some exhibitions by appointment (contact@fazalunlimited.com). About a 12‑minute walk from Khao San.

About

Housed in the curved, 1930s Fazal Building at the corner of Bamrung Mueang and Atsadang, FAZAL Unlimited brings museum-grade curation to Bangkok’s Old Town. Step off the street opposite the Ministry of Interior and into a calm, light-filled space where contemporary Thai and international artists take center stage. It’s the kind of gallery where you slow down, lean in, and let the work do the talking. Expect tightly edited, rotating exhibitions — including the ongoing MOMENTUM series — that draw collectors, art students, and curious travelers in equal measure. Staff are happy to give context without the art-speak, and the building itself is half the joy: a rare slice of pre-war architecture with a sweeping corner and original details that make every visit feel cinematic. Practicalities: it’s roughly a 12‑minute walk from Khao San Road, or an easy hop by tuk-tuk. Doors are usually open Tuesday to Sunday from 2pm to 6pm; occasional shows run by appointment only, so it’s smart to check their Instagram or email ahead (contact@fazalunlimited.com). When open, you can browse at your own pace — a quiet, culture-rich reset between street food runs and temple stops.
