The Twin Lakes of Balinsasayao and Danao are two beautiful crater lakes located in the Negros Oriental Province of the Philippines. The lakes are located approximately 14 kilometers west of the city of Dumaguete, and are situated at an altitude of 1,000 meters above sea level.
To get to the Twin Lakes, you can take a bus or hire a private vehicle from Dumaguete City. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes and the road is winding and steep, so be prepared for a bumpy ride. Once you arrive at the entrance, there is a short hike down to the lakes.
Things to Do
There are plenty of things to do at the Twin Lakes. You can enjoy a picnic by the lakeside, go fishing, or take a boat ride on the lake.
