Settled in the Wahiba Sands, Oman’s one and only desert camp is only a two-hour drive from Muscat. Boasting 30 air conditioned Omani-styled tents, all are tastefully decorated and equipped with amenities including a private bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, a mini bar, and a cozy outdoor sitting area. All tents have its own private terrace overlooking a stunning view of the golden Wahiba Sands. Guests of the camp can take sunset dune bashing trips, go biking, go trekking on a camel, or visit the oasis at Wadi Bani Khalid. At night, guests can enjoy a shuwa, or traditional style of lamb barbecue, and sit around a campfire listening to a band of Bedouin musicians beneath a dome of stars.
