
Gurney House in Nainital
Gurney House is a historic building located in the beautiful hill station of Nainital in Uttarakhand, India. It was the residence of the famous hunter-conservationist Jim Corbett and his family from 1900 to 1947. The house has now been converted into a museum and is open to the public.
The museum showcases the life and times of Jim Corbett and his family through photographs, letters, personal belongings and other memorabilia. Visitors can see the various rooms of the house, including the living room, dining room, kitchen, bedrooms and the study where Jim Corbett wrote his famous books on wildlife.
