Frere Hall - Sindh Province, Pakistan

Frere Hall is a beautiful colonial-era building located in the heart of Karachi, Sindh Province, Pakistan. It was built in the 1860s in honour of Sir Henry Bartle Edward Frere, who was the Commissioner of Sindh at that time. The building was designed by Lt. Col. Clair Wilkins in the Venetian Gothic style.

Frere Hall is surrounded by lush green gardens and is a popular spot for picnics and outdoor events. The building has served as a library, a town hall, and a museum over the years. Today, it houses the Sindh Cultural Heritage Museum, which showcases the rich history and culture of the region.

The hall is also known for its beautiful stained glass windows, which depict scenes from the history of Sindh and the life of Sir Henry Bartle Frere. The windows were designed by Lockwood Kipling, the father of famous writer Rudyard Kipling.
