Alishan National Scenic Area

Alishan National Scenic Area is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Taiwan. Located in the Zhongpu Township area of Chiayi City, it covers an area of more than 415 square kilometers. The approximate latitude and longitude of the area is 23.5089° N, 120.5571° E.

Getting There

The easiest way to get to Alishan National Scenic Area is by taking a train from Chiayi City to the Alishan Station, which is located at the end of the Alishan Forest Railway. From there, you can take a bus or taxi to the various attractions in the area. Alternatively, you can also hire a car or scooter to explore the area on your own.
