Maruyama Zoo is a popular zoo located in the Toyohira Park area of Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. It was opened in 1951 and is the oldest zoo in Hokkaido. The zoo covers an area of 22.9 hectares and is home to over 1,000 animals representing 200 different species.
