The Building

The Miyahara Building is a historic building located in the Beitun District area of Taichung, Taichung City, Taiwan. It was originally built in 1927 as a eye clinic by ophthalmologist Miyahara Takeo. Today, it is a popular destination for tourists because of its beautiful architecture and the famous ice cream shop inside.

The Eye Clinic

The Miyahara Eye Clinic was one of the most advanced eye clinics in Asia at the time it was built. It was equipped with the latest technology and had a large staff of doctors and nurses. Miyahara Takeo was known for his expertise in cataract surgery and his dedication to helping his patients.

The Ice Cream Shop

The Miyahara Ice Cream Shop is located inside the Miyahara Building and is famous for its delicious ice cream and beautiful interior. The shop was opened in 2013 by the famous Taiwanese pastry chef Wu Pao Chun. The ice cream is made with fresh milk and other high-quality ingredients and comes in a variety of flavors.
