From Niigata Station, take the Echigo Tokimeki Railway to the Niigata Kotsu Center bus stop. From there, take the Niigata Kotsu bus to the Niigata Shokubutsu Koen-mae bus stop, which is located directly in front of the garden.

Alternatively, taxis are also available from Niigata Station.
