Wat Thammikarat

Wat Thammikarat features the remains of a large octagonal chedi surrounded by stone lion statues, giving it a distinctive appearance among Ayutthaya's ruins. The main chedi was once enormous. The lion sculptures show Sri Lankan Buddhist influence, reflecting the old kingdom's international connections. There's also a section where you can make merit with roosters.
