Wat Si Koet

Wat Si Koet is a small, working temple inside Chiang Mai’s Old City moat. It’s the quiet pause between the headline wats—think compact Lanna-style viharn, a modest chedi, and shade trees where locals stop to make merit—well away from the tour-bus swirl of Wat Phra Singh and Chedi Luang. Drop by in the daytime; there’s free entry and space to sit and let the city noise fall away. Shoes off at the hall, shoulders/knees covered, and a small donation helps the upkeep.
