Wat Senasanaram

Wat Senasanaram is an active royal temple near the Chao Sam Phraya National Museum. The temple houses well-preserved murals and a collection of important Buddha images. As a first-class royal monastery, it receives more maintenance funding than many other temples. The ordination hall (ubosot) is particularly fine. Quiet and contemplative even on busy tourist days.
