Wat Sala Pun is an active Buddhist temple in the Ayutthaya area, less visited than the famous ruins but very much alive with daily worship and merit-making. The temple grounds are well-maintained with classic Thai architecture. Monks live and practice here. You may catch morning alms-giving or evening chanting. Remember to dress modestly and remove shoes.
