About
Wat Phra Ngam, dubbed the Portal of Time, is one of Ayutthaya's most atmospheric ruins. Overgrown with tree roots and vegetation, the crumbling structures create a natural time capsule. The name 'beautiful temple' is fitting even in decay. It's less restored than the main sites, which gives it a raw, Indiana Jones quality. Bring good shoes for uneven ground.
