Wat Klang Kao is one of the older temples in Surat Thani Center, with 'Kao' (old) reflecting its historical standing. The temple architecture shows its age in the best way — weathered teak, faded murals, and a sense of accumulated reverence. Morning alms-giving ceremonies are particularly atmospheric here.
