Waroros Market (Kad Luang) sits on Wichayanon Rd by the Ping River, about a 10-minute walk from the Night Bazaar. Go early: most stalls run 6am–6pm; curbside grills and fruit carts linger till ~9pm. Free entry. Snack as you shop—sai ua, sticky rice with nam prik noom, dried longan. Expect fair prices: fruit 40–80 THB/kg, sausage sticks 30–50 THB.
Ground floor is wet market and spices; upstairs is a maze of textiles, Hmong bags, sandals, herbal balms. Locals stock up; travelers graze. Ton Lam Yai flower market next door perfumes the lane. Lively, no hard sell, and very Chiang Mai. Last checked Mar 2026.
