The Library Phuket
Speakeasy vibes on Ratsada Rd: slip past the bookcase into a neon back room with DJs and late-night energy. Creative cocktails up front, dancefloor out back. Open nightly 7:30pm–2am in Old Phuket Town.
About
From the street it looks like an old bookshop—quiet, lamps glowing, shelves stacked to the ceiling. Push through the back and The Library flips the script: a neon-lit club room pumps up late with a proper sound system, bartenders working the sticks, and a crowd that mixes Phuket Town regulars with curious night owls. It’s the kind of place you whisper to friends, then meet them at the secret door.
Cocktails are the draw. The team leans into creative, sometimes molecular touches alongside well-made classics, with spirits that go beyond the usual suspects. Start in the front lounge if you want conversation and a seat under the “stacks,” then drift to the back when the DJs warm up. Happy hour deals around 8–10pm make a strong case for a second round (last checked March 2026).
Find it on Ratsada Road in Old Phuket Town—number 11 on the block—an easy pre- or post-dinner stop if you’re hopping between Talang, Dibuk, and Phangnga roads. Doors open nightly at 7:30pm and the lights don’t come up until 2am. Dress smart-casual, bring a little patience on weekends, and let the bartenders steer you if the menu feels too tempting.
