The Hub Samui

About
Lamai’s brunch game has levelled up. The Hub Samui is an air‑conditioned cafe and eatery a few minutes’ walk from Lamai Beach, built for unhurried mornings and lazy afternoons. The menu runs all day: proper Western breakfast plates, stacked bagels and wraps, colourful smoothie bowls, fresh salads, and a tight list of Thai classics when you want something local. Coffee’s done right (think rich Italian-style espresso), with fresh juices, shakes and iced drinks for the heat.
It sits in the Lamai strip near training gyms, massage shops and small hotels, so the crowd is a friendly mix of beach‑goers, the post‑workout crew and remote workers cooling off in the AC. Regulars swear by the Champion’s Breakfast and the quality bacon, but you won’t go wrong with a mango‑packed bowl or a chicken satay wrap. Most plates land under ฿300, portions are generous, and service is quick without rushing you.
Come early for breakfast, slide in after the beach for something fresh, or keep it casual before a Lamai night out. The kitchen closes around 7pm, and Sundays wrap up a bit earlier, so plan your cravings accordingly. Find it at 82/2 Moo 3 in Maret (Lamai), a short stroll off Had Lamai Road toward the sand.
