Storage Art Space
Artist-run white-cube on Phra Sumen Rd with rotating contemporary shows Thu–Sun, 2pm–7pm. A third-floor hideaway steps from Khao San where local and regional artists get space to breathe.
About
Tucked on the 3rd floor of a modest shophouse on Phra Sumen Road, Storage is an artist-initiated space that keeps the Old Town’s contemporary art pulse steady and curious. The room is clean-lined and minimalist—high ceiling, white walls, concrete floors—so the work does the talking. Shows turn over regularly, often pairing Bangkok names with regional voices, and the curation leans thoughtful rather than flashy. Step off Khao San’s chaos for a few minutes and you’re suddenly in a quiet white cube where ideas take their time.
Founded in 2022 by a small circle of artists and curators, Storage focuses on process-driven contemporary art—installations, video, text, and the kind of pieces that reward a slow look. You’ll often catch the team on site and happy to chat about what’s on the walls. It’s a short walk from Khao San along Phra Sumen (Wat Bowon Niwet side); look for number 469 and head upstairs.
Practical bits: exhibitions usually run a few weeks at a time, and the space opens Thursday to Sunday, 2pm–7pm (last checked April 2026). If you care about Bangkok’s art scene—or just want a calm reset between bowls of pad thai and beer towers—Storage is the stop to make.
