Sound Up

Sound Up is a no-nonsense little club in Chiang Mai’s Old City, inside the moat and an easy walk from most guesthouses. It does exactly what the name promises: big speakers, a tight dance floor, low lights. You’ll find a mixed crowd of travelers and local students shaking it out after the markets wind down. Come for the high-volume release, stay for the friendly vibe and zero-pretension energy. Handy if you’re bar-hopping the Old City and want a proper dance without trekking to Nimman.
