About
Morning-to-afternoon seafood on the sand at the end of Naklua Soi 18. This little “secret beach” is where local boats land with the catch, and vendors slice sashimi to order right by the water — think just-landed squid, shrimp, and seasonal fish, served with punchy Thai seafood sauces. You’ll eat under umbrellas on plastic chairs with your toes in the sand while long-tail boats bob a few meters out.
Go earlier on weekends — things kick off from 7am and the best pieces go first. Prices are local-market style and depend on the day’s catch, but portions are fair and the fish is the draw. Deck chairs and mats are easy to rent if you want to linger. There’s a small parking area nearby (50 THB) and you’ll find the spot by following Soi Naklua 18 straight to the water, then turning left along the shore.
This is Pattaya in its most low-key mood: salty breeze, paper plates, cold drinks from beach stalls, and a crowd of Thai families, seafood fans, and curious travelers escaping the main beach. It’s simple, fresh, and exactly the kind of place locals point you to when you ask where to eat by the sea.
