Sabai Sabai Viewpoint & Lounge

Hilltop lounge with 360° Koh Lanta views — come for golden-hour beers and Thai plates, stay for the stars. Open noon–9pm (Sun–Fri), closed Sat; often pauses in low season — check Instagram before you ride up.

About

Set high in the hills above Sala Dan, Sabai Sabai Viewpoint & Lounge is where Koh Lanta shows off. The open-air deck looks out over jungle and the Andaman Sea with a true 360° sweep, so sunset is the main event — skies going pink to tangerine while long-tail boats cut tiny lines below. You’ll hear birds and wind in the trees, not traffic. Come for an easy lunch and linger into golden hour. The kitchen turns out homestyle Thai plates and simple bar bites, with cold beers, fruit shakes and no-fuss cocktails to match the view. It’s relaxed and friendly — couples, small groups and solo travelers swapping tips between photos. Aim to roll in around 5pm for the light show; it winds down by 9pm, and it’s closed on Saturdays. Practical bit: it’s a short ride inland from the Long Beach/Phra Ae area, best reached by scooter or taxi. The venue often pauses for low season and reopens around November, so check their social pages before you go. As of March 2026, hours run noon–9pm (Sun–Fri).
