OTOP Market
Open-air night market on Rat Uthit 200 Pee Rd, nightly 5pm–12am. Graze on pad thai and charcoal-grilled skewers, sip a cold beer, then browse beachwear and Thai-made souvenirs before heading to Bangla.
About
Patong’s OTOP Market is where the night warms up before Bangla. From 5pm the tin‑roof lanes on Rat Uthit 200 Pee Road fill with smoke from the grills, fans humming over plastic tables, and the clink of beer bottles. It’s casual, cheap, and easy: grab a seat anywhere and start ordering.
Food stalls run the show here — pork skewers hot off the coals, pad thai tossed to order, fried chicken, som tam, fresh seafood, and bright fruit shakes for the heat. Around the edges, small bars pour cold beers and simple cocktails, with music spilling into the walkways. Come early for dinner, or use it as a relaxed pre‑game before you wander up to Bangla Road.
Between bites, browse the rows of stalls for Thai‑made souvenirs, sarongs, beach tees, flip‑flops, and last‑minute travel bits. Keep haggling friendly and bring cash; ATMs line Rat Uthit if you need a top‑up. Open daily 5pm–12am (last checked March 2026).
