It’s also one of the easiest spots in town to reach: hop a songthaew (baht bus) along Beach Road and jump off at the Dolphin Roundabout. Come around 5pm for that honeyed light and stay for sunset; after dark, the beach stays open and the promenade is lively without feeling hectic.
