About

If you’re island-bound from Khao San, this is where the journey starts. Lomprayah’s Rambuttri Road office is the meet-up point for their bus + high-speed catamaran routes to Koh Tao, Koh Phangan, and Koh Samui. It’s two minutes off Khao San on Soi Rambuttri (154 Rambuttri Rd), next to PAJ Authentic Thaispa and opposite Vanilla Cha Cha. Open daily 5am–midnight (last checked Mar 2026). Doors open early, the coffee carts roll up, and a mixed crowd of backpackers and holidaymakers checks in with printouts and phone confirmations before boarding the buses to the southern piers. Inside, staff move fast: tickets issued, bags tagged, questions answered. You can book online in advance or walk in; cash and cards are accepted, and this office is the official departure point for the Khao San runs. Expect early-morning and evening departures most days, connecting seamlessly to Lomprayah’s catamarans for the quickest crossings in the Gulf. It does get busy—especially around evening departures—so swing by earlier in the day if you want time to compare routes or ask about weather and sea conditions. Practical tip: arrive a little before your departure to sort luggage tags and grab a snack on Rambuttri. If you’re staying nearby, it’s an easy wheel over with your bag. From here you’re set for the islands—one ticket, one check-in, and a smooth transfer from the Khao San bus to the Gulf catamaran.
