About
Koppee Beach Club is the easygoing, beachfront hangout on Koh Tao’s south side, right on the sand of Chalok Baan Kao Bay. Roll in straight from a swim and grab a shaded table under the palms; sea breeze and the sound of longtails do the rest. It runs all day from 9am to 10pm, so it works just as well for a lazy breakfast as it does for sunset drinks when the bay turns gold.
Food is unfussy and spot-on for island days: strong espresso and smoothies in the morning, classic Thai plates when you want heat, and a solid lineup of comfort food — the burgers get a lot of love. Cocktails and cold beers keep the sunset crowd happy, with a casual playlist and no pressure to rush.
The vibe is friendly and low-key, a mix of divers, long‑stayers and beach walkers cooling off between dips. You’ll find it on the sand at Chalok Baan Kao, a short scooter ride from Mae Haad. Aim for late afternoon to catch that mellow golden hour and linger into the evening.
