Oony is a Korean restaurant on Lonely Beach serving bibimbap, kimchi jjigae, and Korean BBQ to the island's growing Korean tourist crowd. The bibimbap comes in a proper stone pot (dolsot) that crisps the rice at the bottom. Mains run 150-250 baht. The kimchi is house-made and actually fermented, not the quick-pickle version you get at most Thai-Korean joints. The owner imports gochujang and doenjang from Seoul. A solid option when Thai food fatigue sets in around day five.
