Koh Lipe

Koh Lipe is a 4-square-kilometer island in the Andaman Sea, part of Tarutao National Marine Park in Satun Province. Three main beaches — Pattaya, Sunrise, and Sunset — ring an interior connected by Walking Street. The island has no cars, no airport, and only speedboat access from Pak Bara or Langkawi. What makes Lipe different from Thailand's more developed islands is scale. You can walk end to end in 20 minutes. Everyone ends up at the same bars. The diving and snorkeling rival anywhere in the Andaman, and the water clarity is routinely compared to the Maldives.
