The Khao Lak Lighthouse is a functioning navigational marker on the coast that has become one of the area's landmark photo spots. The structure itself is modest but its hilltop position makes it a reference point for the entire Khao Lak coastline. The surrounding area is maintained as a small park with benches and shade trees. Worth the quick detour for the views.
