About

Barefoot dining on the sand with sunset front and center — that’s Jeab’s Dining on Klong Khong Beach. From late breakfast to dinner, tables spill onto the beach under string lights and palm shade. It’s the kind of spot where you wander in after a swim and end up lingering for one more chilled beer while the sky goes orange. Some evenings a lone guitarist drifts through Thai pop and old classics, keeping the vibe easy. The menu is straight-up home cooking with island portions. Regulars come back for the rich massaman curry, punchy som tam, and simply grilled fish pulled from local boats. If you’re spice-shy, there are gentler plates too — a comforting chicken teriyaki, pad see ew, fried rice — and Jeab will happily tune the heat to your level. Expect down-to-earth pricing (roughly 80–180 THB) and plenty of fruit shakes to put out any fire. Aim for a sunset meal when the tide’s low and the beach opens wide; it’s walk-up casual and family-friendly. You’ll find Jeab’s right on the sand along Klong Khong, a quick ride south from Long Beach/Phra Ae. Open daily from morning through the evening, it’s an easy go-to whether you’re based in Klong Khong or cruising the west coast for dinner with a view.
