Hua Hin Night Market

Nightly street market on Dechanuchit (Soi 72) with sizzling seafood grills, Thai comfort snacks, and easy souvenir shopping—an evening stroll from the beach. Go 7–9pm for peak buzz; 6pm if you want space. Open daily 6pm–midnight.

About

Hua Hin’s classic night market fills Dechanuchit Alley (Soi Hua Hin 72) every evening, a quick stroll from the railway line and the beach. From 6pm the grills fire up, ice trays brim with crab and prawns, and the air smells like garlic, lemongrass, and charcoal. It’s the city’s easy dinner plan and souvenir run rolled into one. Come hungry. Pick from street-side seafood restaurants and stalls serving whole grilled fish, fat squid, and prawns done spicy or garlicky, plus Thai comfort picks like pad thai, som tam, moo ping, roti, and mango sticky rice for dessert. Drinks tend to be simple and cold—fresh coconut, pomegranate juice, or a beer while you wander. Between bites, browse racks of cotton dresses and elephant pants, handmade soaps, snacks to take home, and “Hua Hin” tees for the beach. Prices are fair if a touch higher than Bangkok’s mega-markets; a friendly haggle goes a long way. Aim for 7–9pm for peak energy and the live covers drifting in from nearby bars on Soi Bintabaht. If you want a calmer lap with the kids, go right at 6pm before the crowds roll in. Last verified: March 2026.
