Riverside café-meets-antique gallery in Talat Noi with a breezy deck over the Chao Phraya. Think vintage signs, classic cars, strong coffee and cakes (drinks 100–180 THB). Go on a weekday to skip the queues and score a waterside table.
About
Talat Noi’s photogenic café sits inside a sprawling antique-filled warehouse right on the Chao Phraya. Walk past stacked teak cabinets, rusting enamel signs, and a couple of classic cars before the space opens to a breezy river deck with long views and the occasional passing barge. It’s part café, part gallery, all nostalgia — the kind of place where you end up exploring corners between sips.
Come for coffee, teas, and sodas, plus a lineup of cakes and light plates. Drinks run roughly 100–180 THB and desserts 120–220 THB, with a few savory dishes for when you’ve been wandering Talat Noi all morning. Weekends can mean queues and a very Instagram crowd. If you want that riverside table without the wait, aim for a weekday, late morning or after 4pm.
You’ll find it on Soi Wanit 2 in Talat Noi, a short stroll from Holy Rosary Church and River City, and about a 10–15 minute walk from MRT Hua Lamphong through lanes painted with street art. Doors open 10am–8pm, Tuesday to Sunday (closed Mondays). Grab a seat by the water, let the fans hum, and watch the river do its thing.
