Fisherman's Village Night Market

On Fridays, Bophut’s Beach Road goes car-free for Fisherman’s Village Night Market, the island’s biggest walking street. From The Wharf Samui to the old pier, you’ll hit skewers (฿30–60), whole grilled snapper to share (฿200–300), mango sticky rice (฿60–80), and plastic-cup mojitos (฿80–120). Stalls fire up around 5pm and wind down near 10:30pm. Time it for a 6pm sunset over Bophut Bay, then drift through lantern-lit shophouses, acoustic buskers, and craft tables that aren’t airport tat. Free entry, family-friendly early, more bar-hop energy by 9pm. For a quick seat and better prices, slip into the small sois off Beach Road.
