Right on the central strip of Sairee Beach, Fishbowl is the island bar you hear before you see — bass rolling over the water and voices carrying down the sand. Come at sunset when longtails bob offshore and the sky goes orange; grab a toes-in-the-sand table and ease in with a cold beer or a fruity cocktail. As night drops, the tempo jumps. Beer pong tables line the deck, the crowd gets competitive, and fire spinners often light up the beach. Expect sing-along hits and party anthems rather than chin-stroking DJ sets, and a mostly backpacker-and-dive-crew crowd that’s out to make friends. Drinks are poured strong and the service keeps things moving even when it’s heaving. Practical bit: it’s an easy stroll along Sairee’s beachfront walkway, so you won’t need a taxi. Doors open daily from 3pm and the party can run to 2am — show up early for sunset seats or roll in late when it’s at full tilt. Flip-flops are the dress code, sand is the dance floor, and you’ll probably leave with a few new mates.
