DOKYAA Coffee and Bistro on Lonely Beach roasts its own beans and takes the craft seriously. The owner sources from hill tribe growers in northern Thailand and roasts in small batches. A pour-over runs 90 baht and is worth every baht. The bistro side serves Thai-Western fusion plates — think green curry pasta, tom yum risotto — that sound odd but work. The space is modern and air-conditioned, a welcome retreat from the heat. Open from 8am to early evening. One of the better coffee experiences on Koh Chang.
