A Patani-born ice cream studio with a designer’s touch, DERNDIN HOUSE turns local stories into scoops. Step in from Piphit Road and you’ll find a calm, craft-forward space—indigo-dyed accents, hand-thrown ceramics, and the soft clink of spoons against cold bowls. It’s the sort of place you linger, deciding between a couple of flavors and then somehow ordering one more.
The draw is homemade ice cream that riffs on the deep south. Expect inventive, place-specific ideas—think a playful nod to tupa sutong (squid stuffed with sticky rice) interpreted for dessert—alongside gentler crowd-pleasers made with regional produce. Portions are generous, sweetness is balanced, and everything is made with care on site.
