Coffee Morning
Mae Hong Son’s cozy wooden café for an easy start: smooth Thai coffee, fresh smoothies, and simple breakfasts near Jong Kham Lake. Open daily 8am–4:30pm; most drinks 60–100 THB.
About
In a creaky old wooden shophouse on Singhanat Bamrung Road, Coffee Morning does exactly what the name promises: strong, well-made cups to start the day right. Morning light pours through teak windows onto vintage chairs and a few small tables, with a mellow soundtrack and the smell of fresh grounds in the air. It’s a short stroll from Jong Kham Lake and right by the municipality offices, so you’ll see a mix of locals and Mae Hong Son loop riders drifting in from 8am.
Order a classic Thai iced coffee or go simple with an Americano; both are smooth and fairly priced (most drinks land in the 60–100 THB range). They also do fresh fruit smoothies and a handful of easy breakfast plates and pastries — just enough fuel for a temple wander or a mountain ride. Service is unhurried in the best possible way; grab a seat by the front and watch Mae Hong Son ease into the day.
Practical bit: it’s central and easy to find on Singhanat Bamrung, a few minutes’ walk from Wat Chong Kham. Open daily from 8am to 4:30pm, which makes it perfect for a late breakfast or a lazy mid‑afternoon caffeine fix before the sun dips behind the hills.
