About
Barefoot coffee right on Mae Haad Beach. Coconut Monkey sits on the sand beside Master Divers, a breezy spot for early coffees, smoothie bowls and late‑lunch plates with your toes in the shade. It’s the calm side of Koh Tao — longtails bobbing out front, sea air doing the cooling, and zero Sairee chaos.
The menu leans fresh and homemade: good espresso, fruit smoothies and juices, big salads, wraps and bowls, plus sweet bakes that actually taste of butter and banana. Plenty here for vegetarians and vegans without scaring off carnivores. Prices are fair for beachfront, and portions won’t leave you hunting for second lunch.
Morning is prime time. Roll in after the ferry or a shore dive, plug into the Wi‑Fi if you must, and watch Mae Haad get on with its day. By mid‑afternoon it turns into an easygoing hangout for sun‑kissed divers, yogis and laptop nomads rinsing sand off their ankles before heading up to Sairee for the night. Open daily 8am–5pm; if you’re staying near the pier, this becomes your default breakfast spot.
