Chopper’s is where Koh Tao watches the big game and sings along after it. Two floors hum from late afternoon: downstairs is all sport with HD screens and a pair of big projectors, icy-cold beers sliding across the bar, and the smell of burgers hitting the grill. Head upstairs after dark and a full live band takes over from around 9pm — tight covers, plenty of singalongs, and a dance floor that fills fast on crawl nights. You’ll find it on Sairee’s main walking street, a short wander from the beach, so it’s an easy rally point before or after sunset. The menu leans classic pub grub — towering burgers, chicken parm, nachos, fish and chips — alongside easy Thai staples when you want rice and spice. Portions are generous, service is quick, and there are drink specials running most nights. Chopper’s is also home base for the Koh Tao Pub Crawl, which means big energy on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday when the crawl rolls in. If you’re here for live sport, come early for big matches and grab a table with a clear screen line; if you’re here for the music, aim for after 9pm when the stage upstairs kicks off.
