Chom Arun

Chom Arun is the Old City café for front-row Wat Arun views. Perched above the Tha Tien shophouses, a few steps from Wat Pho and Tha Tien Pier (N8), it stares straight across the Chao Phraya at the temple. Grab an upstairs window seat or the slim terrace—sunset does the heavy lifting. Coffee is dialed in—iced lattes run 100–120 THB. There’s a short menu of Thai comfort plates and cakes if you linger. Expect photographers, couples, and temple-hoppers bouncing between Wat Pho and the ferry. AC inside, river breeze outside. For the best view, slide in before sunset.
