About
The main archaeological museum for Ayutthaya houses gold artifacts from Wat Ratchaburana's crypt, Buddha images spanning centuries of Thai art, and weaponry from the kingdom's military history. The collection puts flesh on the bones of the ruins outside. Air-conditioned, well-labeled, and essential for understanding what Ayutthaya looked like in its prime. Open Wednesday to Sunday.
