Apple Kitchen is a small Thai restaurant on the Lonely Beach road that locals actually eat at — always a good sign on a tourist island. The menu covers the classics done well: green curry, pad see ew, stir-fried morning glory with garlic. Most dishes 70-120 baht. The kitchen is fast and the owner remembers your order if you come back twice. It's not fancy and doesn't try to be. Grab a table on the porch and watch the Lonely Beach foot traffic while you eat.
