Ao Nang LandMark Beach
Beachfront night market by Nopparat Thara Beach: live bands, sea breezes and rows of stalls from grilled seafood to mango sticky rice. Grab a cold beer, catch sunset, and graze from 5โ11pm โ a 10โ15 minute walk from central Ao Nang.
About
The north end of Ao Nang comes alive at sunset when the lights flick on at Ao Nang Landmark, the beachfront night market by Nopparat Thara Beach. From around 5pm the smells of smoky grills, garlic and lime drift across the boardwalk as stalls fire up skewers, satay and wok-fried noodles. Blender jars thump out fruit shakes, roti carts flip crisp pancakes, and live bands warm up at the bar shacks. On some nights youโll even hear the hype from the nearby Muay Thai stadium rolling across the sand.
Itโs an easy place to graze: start with grilled prawns or squid, then wander to a curry stall for a ladle over rice, finish with mango sticky rice or a banana roti. There are halal options, seafood by weight, and the occasional wild-card bite (crocodile turns up now and then). Grab a seat at the communal tables or face the beach with a cold beer or simple cocktail while the sky goes pink over Nopparat Thara.
Practicalities are simple. Itโs right on Route 4203 at Nopparat Thara Beach, about a 10โ15 minute walk from central Ao Nang Beach, with plenty of parking if youโre on a scooter. Daily hours run 5pmโ11pm, and the sweet spot is 6:30โ8pm when the heat eases and the sunset show starts. Expect a relaxed mix of families, Krabi locals and backpackers fueling up before or after island-hopping. Hours last verified March 2026.
