Anusarn Market

Anusarn Market is the food-focused heart of Chiang Mai's Night Bazaar district, a covered open-air market where the real draw is the eating. Dozens of food stalls line the central walkway selling pad thai, grilled seafood, som tum, mango sticky rice, and khao soi — the coconut curry noodle soup that Chiang Mai is famous for. Most dishes cost 40-80 baht. The market also has clothing and souvenir vendors around the edges, but food dominates. Tables fill the middle section so you can sit, eat, and watch the crowd. It opens around 5 PM nightly and runs until roughly 11 PM. Less chaotic than the main Night Bazaar strip, and the food quality is generally better than the street stalls along Chang Klan Road.
