Akira Lipe Resort's beachfront bar is one of the better spots on Walking Street's outskirts for a cocktail with an actual view. Drinks 200-300 baht. The resort bar is open to non-guests and offers direct sand-and-sea access. The setting is more upscale than the Walking Street bar scene — proper glassware, comfortable seating, less noise. Good for a sunset drink before dinner. The mojitos use fresh mint from the resort's garden. Live acoustic music some evenings.
