  When you’re ready for a proper dance floor on the strip, this Afrobeats-focused club delivers bass and energy. Best after 11pm if you want it lively; before then it’s a good meet-up point mid-strip.

  Rooftop breeze, private karaoke rooms, and a central Tani Rd address make this a reliable group choice. Head up around 9–10pm for a nightcap with a view, then decide if you’re dropping back into Khao San or calling it.

  If you want a lighter dinner before drinks, Ethos is a short stroll from the strip on Tanao Rd. It’s calm, comfy, and close enough that you can be back on Khao San in five minutes.

For quick, fairly priced rides, don’t flag taxis on Khao San itself. Walk two minutes to Chakrabongse Rd or Tani Rd and hail from there—drivers are far more likely to run the meter, and you’ll get out of the gridlock faster.
