Work alongside some 10,000 Rural Thai and Hill tribe school villagers and school children and on one of His Majesty the King's initiatives, a check dam construction project - in the Mae Taeng area of Chiang Mai.

PROJECT FACT SHEET

Date: 24^th July 2005

Time: 0730 hrs. (pick up) to 1500 hrs. (drop off)

Location: Ban Tab Dua, Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai.

Task: Work as a member of a 10 person team using bamboo, rocks and sandbags to construct water retaining check dams that help alleviate poverty, and save the remaining forests.

Price & payment: Baht 900.- per person. To be paid by 1200 hrs on 23/7/05 at ‘Just Khao Soy’ 108/2 Charoenphratet Road, Chiang Mai.

Includes: Transport to and from the site from JUST KHAO SOY, share of guide cost, lunch, water, and a contribution to the purchase of tools & consumables.
